When we received the request to provide a testimonial letter for Home Creations, LLC and its owner, Baron McMillan, we were at once flattered and in a quandary: How could we possibly condense our pleasure and satisfaction with our remodeling/renovation in only a letter? Oh, well, we’ll try.

Our 50+ years-old home had four bedrooms and two bathrooms on the main level. Two of the bedrooms were very small and were joined by a “Jack & Jill” bathroom that was literally as wide as the bathtub was long. You get the picture.

Barton designed and executed a plan that included gutting the two small bedrooms and bathroom and then creating a large master suite with a walk-in closet and a very large bath complete with a benched shower, double mirrored sinks, and linen closet which has become a showplace, especially the overhead shower.

Cosmetic changes were made to the former master bathroom that updated it, and also created a very inviting guest bathroom.

Not wanting to spend the money necessary for new kitchen cabinets, Barton suggested updating the existing cabinets with bead board and new hardware. New backsplash and floor completed our “new” kitchen.

Additional ceiling molding was added throughout the main level which provided an overall updated look to the main lever, as well as new paint. The basement, which includes two bedrooms, full bathroom, kitchen, dining and living areas, was completely carpeted to provide yet another updated living area.

Barton and his sub contractors came in on time and on budget. We only had to leave our home two nights while the hardwood floors were finished.

We cannot complete this testimonial without acknowledging Barton’s crews. Without exception, we felt comfortable with each and every workman. Their work was exceptional and detailed. They treated our home as if it were their own. At the end of each day, a vacuum was used and tools were secured. Each month we were provided with a detailed bill that indicated what had been spent and on what.

Barton often calls to ask if he can bring a prospective client by to view his handiwork. We are always eager to “show” our home. We have only one regret: we wish we had known Barton when we had a deck added to our home.
